Distributional effects of climate policy, the just transition challenge and the important issue of green industrial policy: these are some of the political economy implications related to Green New Deals, an increasingly popular notion around the world.

Simone Tagliapietra, a Research fellow at Bruegel, the Brussels-based economic think-tank, will discuss on the EU climate and energy policy and on the political economy of global decarbonisation, together with Silvia Merler, Head of Research, Algebris Policy & Research Forum, and Massimiliano Grillo, Italy Sales Director, Algebris Investments.
