Our internship programme combines on-the-job training and practical hands-on experience to provide you with the tools needed to start your career in asset management. We only take on a small number of Summer Analysts each year, which allows us to offer you a flexible experience that responds to the needs of the business.
As an Analyst you will be an important member of the team from the outset. Collaborating with other investment professionals across the company, the research and analysis you conduct will support investment recommendations and you will play an active role in internal investment meetings. You will learn from working alongside our expert team of investment professionals, and we’ll also support your progress towards completing the CFA Program, providing you with everything you need to build a successful career at Algebris.
Our internship programme is open to master’s degree students, and our Analyst positions are open to final year students or those who have recently completed their studies. You will have a strong academic record (achieving, or on track to receive, a minimum of a 2:1 from a top tier university).
Algebris looks for self-starters with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong work ethic. You should have a demonstratable passion for the asset management/investment industry and will enjoy being involved in a busy team in a role where no two days are ever the same. You will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing and ever-changing deadlines.
