We are pleased to announce that, for the second year in a row, the Algebris Financial Credit Fund has been awarded the German Fund Award (Deutscher Fondspreis 2021) and the Austrian Fund Award (Österreichischer Fondspreis 2021) by the German and Austrian funds magazine “Fonds Professionell”. The Algebris Financial Credit Fund has emerged as “Outstanding”/”Herausragend” in the category Global Fixed Income for 2021.

The Algebris Financial Credit Fund invests predominantly in subordinated bonds of investment-grade issuers, and has been in existence since the introduction of these bonds as required by the regulator. In addition to our understanding of issuers, we bring many years of experience and a strong track record in the asset class. Financial bonds are excluded from the QE programmes of central banks, the regulators of issuers, and therefore offer investors undistorted, and still attractive, risk-adjusted returns. These factors allow us to stand out against other managers within the strategy, as well as across global fixed income funds. We expect this to continue in the future.”
FONDS Professionell recognized 36 investment funds from 33 different companies in twelve categories for their “outstanding” investment results. The Institut für Vermögensaufbau (IVA) in Munich selected the three best funds for each category, evaluating the active management performance on the basis of a specially developed portfolio and risk analysis.
