Scenario
Inflation, emerging markets, Europe: Positive scenario for fixed income
Inflation on its way down, more stable interest rates and a slowing economy (albeit not a recession): this provides a positive setting for fixed income markets.
On the other hand, emerging markets will be at the forefront of strong interest rate cuts and Europe will continue to provide a viable alternative to the US.
Sustainability, policy and opportunities: finding value in scarcity.
The road to energy transition seems to be paved thanks to measures such as the US Inflation Reduction Act and the European Net Zero Industry Act. In Asia, too, the transition is becoming a strategic theme.
This opens up a variety of investment opportunities: from water management to the circular economy, from digitisation to education to health care, all related to the macro theme of scarcity.
