Algebris, a leading global asset management firm, has appointed Douglas Branson as Head of Business Development.
Based in the London headquarters, Branson’s primary task will be to further develop Algebris’ presence and reach. His focus will be to ensure Algebris has the right presence in new and existing markets – whether in terms of products, client support and marketing – in order to support and expand its client base.
With nearly 22 years of experience in a number of roles, Branson spent his last 16 years at GAM where he was Head of UK Distribution for the last three years. In this role he also developed board and management committee level experience.
